A Horse By Any Other Name

The last time firecrackers shot out for the Chinese New Year of the Horse, I was  in the middle of a karaoke bus tour through Taiwan. The guide was dressed in a full-sequin suit (for three days straight) and she insisted that someone be singing whenever the bus was in motion. Jeff and I both had nasty head colds. It was madness.

Twelve years later, as firecrackers ring out, I find myself, again, surrounded by madness.

Xin Nian Kuai Le! Happy New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai!
