Halloween

There is something about costumes, sugar, and pumpkin guts that makes Halloween an obvious choice for Oscar’s favourite holiday.

No. It isn’t 1977.
Yes. That is a Jawa.
No. Star Wars has not lost its appeal to 4 (or 36) year old kids (at least according to Disney).

This is Lucy leaving to go “Trick-or-Treat-Thank-You-Bye-Bye” (as she told me when she came home).

Unsure of what was really going on, but fully game to participate, here Lucy is calling back to me, “Bye-Bye, Momma! Happy Birthday!”

Upon returning she had the holiday fully figured out.

Monty, already wise beyond his three weeks, decided to sleep until his sugared-up siblings were in bed.

I like that sugar and pumpkin guts are a common thread in both our posts. DO YOU HAVE A FOUR YEAR OLD BOY TOO??!!?

Aidan was impressed that Oscar was a Jawa. As for Star Wars appealing to the young and middle aged, it has completely lost its shine to us middle aged folk after 3 boys have decided to repeatedly watch it about 4,783,200 times…sigh. I miss your faces.

Your kids are so cute! I know you guys do things different ‘up north’, but why is there a car backed into the playground in the sixth picture? Happy belated Halloween!

Haha. I was thinking the same thing. I think a parent parked the car halfway through the neighbourhood to have a warming station in case her little ones needed a break from the cold!
